The small town of Hoedspruit with its cosmopolitan flair has access to great shops, restaurants, and many outdoor activities. The military base offers golf, bowling, tennis, and squash. This small tourism and agriculturally oriented town is in the central lowveld nestled between The Kruger National Park and The Blyde River Canyon. Hoedspruit is surrounded by the largest privately owned conservation area in the world. Hoedspruit is in the heart of the UNESCO registered Kruger to Canyon Biosphere. There are daily flights to Cape Town and Johannesburg.
