Organic winery with vineyards for sale Burgos, Spain

It is an ecological winery built in 2006, located in the province of Burgos, 1.5 hours by car from Madrid Airport and 2.5 hours from Bilbao Airport.

The vineyards, from 2005, are organic and there are 6 hectares of the Tempranillo variety and 4 hectares of the Albillo variety, a white grape variety native from Castilla y León.

The winery is located on a 13,000 m2 plot, has a built area of 2,786 m2 and consists of the following:
o    Refrigeration room for grape reception
o    Wine making room
o    Wine aging room
o    Bottling room and warehouse
o    Office area
o    90 m2 apartment
o    160 m2 flat

The winery has a storage capacity of 232,000 liters in tanks. It has a storage capacity in French oak barrels of 72,500 liters in 254 French oak barrels from 225 to 3,000 litres.
There is a semi-automatic 1,500 bottle/hour bottling line.
It has all the necessary machinery for the production of quality wines.
It has high-quality vineyards, which are planted in very poor soils, clayey and limestone with edges, ideal for obtaining high-quality wines.

The vineyards are located between 950 and 1,100 meters above sea level. The altitude at which the vineyards are located boosts the thermal amplitude in the vineyard, a fundamental factor for obtaining high-quality grapes.
The average production of the vineyard is 5,000 kg/hectare. It has tractors and the necessary machinery for the cultivation of the vineyard.

It is worth noting the existence of 20 hectares of centennial vineyards of the Tempranillo and Albillo varieties spread over 68 small plots of mountain vineyards, with some pre-phylloxera vines, that is, prior to the year 1900, with a maximum production of 2,500 kg/hectare, an incomparable treasure of the highest quality and value.

The elaborated wines are totally natural without the addition of any product, except the sulphurous one in very low doses. The quality of the wines obtained is very high, wines with a lot of color and structure due to the centuries-old vineyards, the altitude of the vineyards and the extreme poverty of the soils.
