ORGANIC WINERY IN SEGOVIA

It is an ecological winery built in the year 1999, located in the province of Segovia, 1.5 hours by car from Madrid Airport and 2.5 hours from Bilbao Airport.

There are 23 hectares of organic vineyards of the Tempranillo variety.

The winery is located on a 30,000 m2 plot, has 1,000 m2 built and is divided into 3 parts: production and aging area, storage area and offices.

There are 9 rooms on the first floor that could be used as a rural hotel.

The winery has a storage capacity of 100,000 litres, which can be increased by purchasing more tanks.

There is a semi-automatic 700 bottles/hour bottling line.

There are 65 French oak barrels for the aging of quality wines from 225 to 400 litres of capacity.

It has all the necessary machinery for the production of quality wines.

It has high-quality vineyards, which are planted on poor gravel soils, with bottom, the perfect soil to obtain high-quality wines.

The vineyards are located at an altitude of 940 metres. Since 2008, biodynamic practices have been applied to vineyard cultivation throughout its vegetative cycle.

The works of the vineyard and the winery are carried out according to the lunar movements, taking into account the ascendant and descendant and the corresponding phase.

The altitude at which the vineyards are located boosts the thermal amplitude in the vineyard, a fundamental factor for obtaining high-quality grapes.

The average age of the vineyard is over 25 years, with an average production of 4,000 kg/hectare.

The vineyards are located next to the Ribera del Duero wines Appellation.

It has tractors and the necessary machinery for the cultivation of the vineyard.

The wines produced are totally natural without the addition of any product, except the sulphurous one in very low doses.
The quality of the wines obtained is very high, wines with a lot of colour and structure due to the altitude of the vineyards and low production.
