This walled country estate is located about 50 km (31 miles) northeast of Paris.
It is easily accessible by train from Paris (40 minutes), by bus from the International Airport Charles de Gaulle, and of course by car from all directions. If required the caretaker will pick you up at the airport or at the nearby railway station.
The property consists of 16 hectares ( 40 acres ) of park-like landscaped grounds with a Chateau dating from the late 19th century and a number of out-buildings consisting of an Orangerie, a large greenhouse an orchard, and a Courtyard dating from the 17th century.

A caretaker couple lives in a separate house on the grounds.

Next to the Courtyard, there is also a huge dovecote and a small, partly subterranean, prison.
In 1998 the castle and its outbuildings were converted into comfortable apartments.
On the grounds, there are many other features such as a tennis court and a heated swimming pool, which is open for a swim from April till the end of September.

The apartment itself is situated in the right wing of the chateau,  renovated, high ceilings, substantial moldings, original marble fireplaces, tapestries in grand salon, original bathtub, lovely views of the pond, lawns and gardens.
